Cicloposse Japan is the Japan office of Cicloposse, introducing Cicloposse cycling tours to travellers from Japan. It is not itself a licensed tour operator: it supports travellers as a cultural and language bridge, working with Cicloposse, the licensed tour operator based in Italy, and with partner travel agencies in Japan.
Yen prices on this site are estimates based on a reference exchange rate. Payment is made in euros, and the final amount may vary with exchange rates.

Cancellation policy
Terms
These terms apply to cycling tours booked through Cicloposse Japan.
Travel services are provided by Cicloposse Srl in Italy.
Cancellation before departure
If you decide to cancel, or need to cancel, the following fees apply and become payable to CICLOPOSSE from the moment we receive your written notice of cancellation (by email, with confirmation of receipt) before departure.
Booking & payment

A non-refundable deposit (self-guided €300 / guided €500) is required to confirm your booking.
The deposit is applied as a processing fee. -
The balance is due between 60 and 30 days before departure.
*If you prefer, you can pay the full amount at once instead of deposit plus balance, settling everything without exchange-rate risk.
Cancellation policy
Self-guided tours:

31 or more days before departure: amount paid refunded, minus the deposit

30-16 days before departure (inclusive): 50% of the total

15-0 days before departure (including no-show): 100% of the total
Guided tours:

61 or more days before departure: amount paid refunded, minus the deposit

60-31 days before departure (inclusive): 50% of the total

How days are counted: the departure day counts as day 0.
After departure
No refunds are given for unused services once the tour has started.
Cancellation by us
In very rare cases CICLOPOSSE may need to cancel a tour. In that case we refund the full amount, which constitutes full settlement. CICLOPOSSE is not responsible for other costs you incurred, such as pre-booked hotels or non-refundable flights.
Guided tours with few participants may be cancelled. Registered guests will be notified at least 60 days before departure and may choose a full refund or transfer to another departure.
Changes to your itinerary
After confirmation, minor changes may be accepted if Cicloposse considers them reasonable and sufficient notice is given. We will do our best to meet your requests.
However, major changes incur additional arrangement and planning fees on top of the original quote.
Introduction
These general terms apply to travel packages provided by Cicloposse Srl and comply with the EU Package Travel Directive
and Italian tourism law.
Booking & payment
A non-refundable deposit of €300-€500 per person is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due between 60 and 30 days before departure. Payment is by bank transfer or credit card.
If payment is not received, the booking is considered cancelled and cancellation fees apply under the cancellation policy.
Changes to services
For operational reasons we may change accommodation, services or itinerary, while maintaining the same or a higher standard.
We will promptly inform you of any significant change.
Organiser's responsibility
Except for force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances, Cicloposse Srl is responsible for the proper performance of all services included in the package.
We are not liable for external factors, accidents outside the tour, or damage caused by the participant's own negligence.
Governing law & jurisdiction
This contract is governed by Italian law; the competent court is Siena, Italy.
Traveller rights
Introduction
Traveller rights are guaranteed by the EU Package Travel Directive. They protect travellers before signing the contract and during the trip,
ensuring services are delivered as agreed and that appropriate compensation and support
are available if problems arise.
Key rights
1. The right to receive all essential information about the package before signing the contract.
2. The organiser is responsible for the proper performance of all services included in the package.
3. Access to emergency contacts and support during the trip.
4. The right to transfer the package to another person with reasonable notice.
5. The right to a price reduction and/or compensation in case of non-performance.
6. The right to terminate the contract without penalty in special circumstances.
7. Refunds and repatriation guaranteed in case of the travel company's insolvency.
8. The right to receive a copy of the contract.

Introduction
By joining a tour organised by Cicloposse, you agree to this disclaimer. Cycling carries inherent risks that cannot be eliminated
even with the utmost care.
Associated risks
Participants acknowledge that cycling on public roads and trails involves significant risks, including: falls, collisions with vehicles,
bad weather, accidents due to equipment failure, unpredictable road conditions and the behaviour of other road users.
Acceptance of responsibility
Participants declare that they are physically fit and have sufficient skills to take part in the tour.
They also agree to take full responsibility for any damage or injury to themselves, third parties or property arising from their participation.
Waiver of claims
Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, participants waive any claim against Cicloposse Srl, its representatives and partners for damage, loss or injury.
Helmets & safety rules
Helmets are mandatory for all cycling activities. Participants agree to follow local traffic rules and the instructions of Cicloposse guides.

Prices are based on two people sharing a room. A single supplement applies for a single room (please tell us when booking).

Services and meals not listed in the itinerary are not included.
Your cooperation
For a smooth, comfortable trip, we ask you to: choose a tour that matches your fitness and experience, tell us in advance about allergies and other health or dietary needs, provide your age, passport and flight details, and reply promptly to our questions.
Before the tour starts you will sign a release form, and you agree to follow safe riding rules. If we judge you unfit for safety or other reasons, we reserve the right to refuse or stop the service.
Our commitment
We work to deserve your trust with reliable, personal service. We will contact you promptly and keep you updated on your itinerary. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know right away and we will respond quickly.
Travel documents
Checking entry requirements and passport validity for the countries you visit is your responsibility. Requirements change by nationality and over time, so please check the latest information with the embassy or consulate in your country. We are not responsible for delays, changes or extra costs caused by missing documents.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs and liability. Please arrange it directly with an insurer. Our cancellation fees are not negotiable.
Accommodation
We mainly book 3- to 5-star hotels and country inns. In peak season or for bookings less than three months before departure, your first-choice accommodation may not be available; we will then propose an equivalent alternative (our price may be higher than prices you find on booking sites).
For self-guided tours, we share the planned hotel list before requesting the deposit. Extra nights before or after the tour can also be arranged.
Acceptance of terms
By paying a deposit or any further amount to us, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and the cancellation policy.
